Velkro Type Creation
A modular typeface created for class and applied across a poster and editorial book layout.
Velkro was a class project focused on creating a modular typeface and applying it beyond the letterforms themselves. I designed the font, then extended it into a poster and book-layout system to explore how the type could hold up across larger editorial compositions. The project was built in Illustrator and focused on creating a typeface with a distinct structure that still felt usable in real layouts.
