This poster reinterprets Whiplash through a minimal visual language rather than literal scene depiction. I led concept and execution in Illustrator using flat shapes, reduced color, and restrained composition. The design focus was translating intensity through hierarchy instead of detail overload. I iterated balance and contrast to keep the piece readable while preserving emotional tension. The outcome was a concise poster direction that communicates mood with fewer elements.
