Selected drawing-class works in charcoal and sanguine, from figure studies to portraits and still life.

This project collects selected drawing studies in charcoal and sanguine across figure, portrait, and still-life work. I focused on classical rendering principles, especially value control, edge handling, and form construction. The exercises strengthened how I think about light, volume, and depth before moving into digital workflows. I treated each piece as a structural study rather than purely aesthetic output. The outcome was stronger foundational draftsmanship that directly improved my digital composition and shading decisions.
